Nechako Valley Inn

Nice place to stay, especially if you're planning to hang out at bar nearby Actually this is contradictory point. It's perfect place to stay if you plan to party at the bar, get drunk and want to have overnight place nearby. On the contrary, if you'd like not to hear drunk dudes settling in then you have to consider getting earplugs haha

very very nice people, very accommodating when we had to wait a few hours for our train coming late. gave us space to keep our bags for a while after checking out.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The manager was very friendly and helped us with luggage. The rates of this hotel was very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again.

The room we stayed in was very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. We came here with our kitten who also seemed to enjoy exploring the room. Unfortunately the train we were taking home, didn't come till 6 hours after we checked out. We couldn't find anywhere to stay while we waited, but the staff were kind enough to let us sit in the lobby. Otherwise, everything you need is within a 10 minute walking distance. I would recommend you stay here if you need somewhere to say briefly.

My son was on a trip to Denali national Park and stayed at the Nechako Valley Inn in Vanderhoof after 12 hours on the road from Vancouver. I wanted to say how great his stay was from the moment we booked the reservation we felt like we were getting five star service. They welcomed my son by name when he arrived took excellent care of him. He told me that the Wi-Fi was brilliant and the hotel was located close to many services all at walking distance and there was a lounge next-door. He said he slept like a baby in their bed. He was traveling with a lot of belongings in his car, and we were very pleased to hear that the hotel had security cameras all throughout the parking lot of the hotel. Thanks to the advice of a worker at the hotel, my son was able to catch one of his largest bull trout fish only a short distance from the hotel and this made his trip so good after a 12 hour day of driving from Vancouver. I was very glad to have him in a safe location so far away from home . The hotel staff communicated so well & even shared where to get a great breakfast close by.
